About the Titirangi Community House

The Titirangi Community House is located within Titirangi's Memorial Park and access is gained via South Titirangi Road. The main car park area (which is home to the famous Titirangi Market on the last Sunday of every month) provides access to the Community House, the Memorial Hall, Titirangi Library and the local play centre.

The house was purpose built with funding assistance from the Auckland Council and is adorned with a panel of screen-printed iron by the Internationally recognised local artist Jeff Thomson.

The Community House operates as an Incorporated Society, governed by a management committee that meets monthly and is here to serve the people of Titirangi. We run a comprehensive Community Education programme including fitness, art and craft, mothering and antenatal and special interests. For children, we have a School Holiday Programme and after school classes. The venue is also available for community groups and individuals to hire.

The Titirangi Community House is wheelchair accessible.   There is a disabled park outside the building for easy access.

We thank the Auckland Council and the Waitakere Ranges Local Board for their continued support of the Community House and our activities.
